I met Mary about 5 years ago when I was going regularly to a chiropractor for neck and back issues. I also have a higher heart rate than average when doing cardio and get lightheaded quickly. I've worked with a lot of trainers before, but none of them were able to adjust my training around my limitations. This usually led me lose interest and not go to the gym for a while after. After I started training with Mary, she was able to quickly understand my limitations and customized my workouts around my issues. She has a phenomenal understanding of how to work around injuries and not to aggravate those areas. Instead she slowly works around them and helps enable the muscle groups to recover over a period of time. I started seeing great results within a few months. The workouts also significantly helped reduce my neck and back issues.
Recently I started working out with Mary again for strength training using TRX bands. I regularly go to the gym for working out with weights, but have always felt lacking in the overall strength and stamina area. Mary has customized the workouts and exercise nutrition to my specific goals and is able to quickly help me modify the workouts when I am losing my form. She is an advent proponent of "Quality over Quantity!!! - Its not about the number of reps but how well form is maintained during those reps that counts"!

After growing up as a competitive cheerleader, I quickly turned my focus to fitness. Helping others better their lives through exercise and nutrition has become my passion. I started my journey as an International Sports Science Association Certified Fitness Trainer in 2007 at a local gym and realized I wanted to turn my focus to the medical health field in 2011 working at Harbour Pointe Chiropractic & Wellness and a comprehensive therapy clinic. I've also had the pleasure of treating patients on a cutting edge bio-electric magnetic therapy with a local chiropractic office from 2018 through 2020.
Since becoming a mommy of two energetic girls, I know how important it is to create balance with living a healthy lifestyle in a nonstop environment. I enjoy spending time with my husband on mountain bike trails and family trips to the beach as often as time will allow. I also enjoy working out and trying new exercises to push me to the limits.
With over 15 years of success and experience personal training in gym and healthcare environments, I will help you set and achieve your goals through a specialized approach utilizing weights, TRX, kettlebells, your own body as a machine, and stretching techniques catered to your needs. Most plans include guidance to healthy eating habits and exercise programs, to ensure the best results. We will work together to keep you on track and motivated to reach your goals revisiting measurements, evaluating NSV's (non-scale victories), and maintaining consistent communication.
I'll provide one-on-one, partner or group training sessions catered to your specific goals during 30, 60 or 90 minute sessions. I also provide virtual training for clients and offer free informational and exercise sessions via live feeds. Interested in bikini, wellness or figure bodybuilding competitions and/or posing? I understand that adopting new fitness habits can be difficult and often times fail. My goal is to change your view on fitness, so it becomes part of who you are and your lifestyle.
